Scholarships

Federated Garden Clubs of Maryland, Inc. (FGCMD) participates in the National Garden Clubs, Inc. (NGC), Central Atlantic Region-State Garden Clubs (CAR-SGC) scholarship program and awards two (1) FGCMD and (2) Robert Lewis Baker scholarships annually that provide grants to college/university students whose major course of study is intended to lead to a career related to studies that promote the mission of the organization.
  • One-year scholarships are available to college/university juniors, seniors and graduate students pursuing a Master’s Degree.
  • Sophomores may make application for their junior year.
  • Equal opportunity shall be provided to all applicants.
  • College/university must be accredited and listed on the official website of the U.S. Department of Education.
